Google Fit adds workout videos from YouTube to encourage you to stay active!!

The app's new Stay Fit #WithMe campaign is aimed at making it easier for people to remain healthy and active with fun content.


What you need to know

  • Google Fit will now show you workout and meditation videos from YouTube to encourage you to stay active.

  • The new content will appear in Google Fit on Android and iOS devices starting this week.

  • They will only be available in markets where YouTube playlists are available.


Google Fit is among the best health and activity tracking apps available currently, providing you with real-time stats for all your workouts and allowing you to keep track of your daily progress. To help people stay healthy and active during the coronavirus pandemic, Google Fit is now joining hands with YouTube to bring hundreds of wellbeing, meditation, and fitness videos as part of the Stay Fit #WithMe campaign. Google says it hopes to encourage users to hit the AHA and WHO's recommended weekly physical activity goals by incorporating the Stay Fit #WithMe content into their fitness plans. Users will be able to browse and view curated mental wellness, meditation, yoga, and dance playlists within the Google Fit app. Source: Google

Google says the new curated #WithMe YouTube videos and playlists will start showing up in the Google Fit app on both Android and iOS this week. However, the content will not be accessible by users in regions where YouTube playlists aren't available.

Whereas the iPhone 12 Pro features a stainless steel frame, the cheaper iPhone 12 continues to use aluminium case materials. Skip the Zoom drama and Meet a better way to video chat. Living alone, the only way I see my friends and family right now is video chatting apps, and there certainly are plenty to choose from these days. Zoom has been the in-vogue video app of the last several weeks, but since that Google Meet is free for everyone this summer, you should absolutely move your chats over to Meet instead. While Google Meet was built for enterprise as a way to host weekly staff meetings and host company-wide briefings, it has several advantages for the everyday chat with your parents or that weekly coffee gossip your mom has with her friends.
